Souls of Seoul (32 pages)
This zine is a labor of love—crafted by hand using only paper and tape, with each copy taking an entire day to assemble. Souls of Seoul captures the quiet poetry of a day in the life of a Korean local. From the early bustle of a market to the warmth of a café, from snowy streets to the soothing haze of a jjimjilbang, these moments come together to paint a portrait of everyday life in Seoul.
Many have asked why I chose Seoul as the place to create this handmade book. The answer is simple—Seoul is the most romantic city I’ve ever been to. Couples fill the streets, their presence woven into the city’s rhythm. And then there are the ahjummas—tough on the outside, yet endlessly kind and helpful beneath their sharp words. But beyond that, there’s something about Seoul that just feels like home—and by the time you’ve flipped through these pages, you’ll understand why.
*This is a limited release, made in small batches due to the time-intensive process of binding each page by hand.
