Megan, known online as oyw, is a Hong Kong–based street photographer with a nomadic soul. Having traveled across twenty countries and four continents, she discovered her true artistic home in the vibrant, unscripted life of Asian streets.

In her fast-paced life—constantly absorbing information and moving at speed—photography is the only space where she slows down. It’s a quiet rebellion against urgency, a way to be fully present. Her lens lingers on fleeting gestures, overlooked connections, and moments of quiet intimacy.

Blending social documentary with an emotive, textural style, her work explores impermanence, displacement, and the intimacy of distance. She photographs not just to observe, but to remember—to hold space for those once close, moments that shaped her, and feelings too fragile to last but too deep to forget.
